While it can be helpful to discuss your desired cup size, it's important to understand that cup sizes vary between bra manufacturers and cannot be guaranteed after surgery. Rather than focusing on a specific cup size, we'll focus on creating breasts that are comfortable, proportional to your frame, and aligned with your goals.

Every breast reduction requires incisions, and the pattern depends on the amount of tissue removed and lifting required. Most women have a scar around the areola and a vertical scar extending to the breast crease. Some patients also require a scar hidden within the breast fold. We'll discuss your expected scar pattern during your consultation and provide detailed scar care instructions after surgery to help optimize healing.

There isn't one right answer for everyone. If you're planning to become pregnant in the next year or two, it may make sense to wait, as pregnancy and breastfeeding can change the size and shape of your breasts.

However, many women choose to have a breast reduction before having children because they're ready to feel more comfortable in their bodies now. This is especially common among younger women who have struggled with large, heavy breasts for years.

Most women are able to breastfeed after breast reduction, although no surgeon can guarantee future breastfeeding ability. It's also important to understand that future pregnancies may change your results, and some women choose to have an additional procedure after having children.

A breast reduction provides long-lasting results, but your breasts may continue to change over time due to weight fluctuations, pregnancy, hormonal changes, or aging. Maintaining a stable weight can help preserve your results over time.

Temporary changes in nipple sensation are common after breast reduction and often improve as healing progresses. While permanent changes in sensation are possible with any breast surgery, they are uncommon. We'll discuss this and all potential risks during your consultation so you have a clear understanding of what to expect.
