IV Therapy, Explained: What It Actually Does
There's a lot of marketing around IV drips. Here's what the evidence supports, who genuinely benefits, and how to think about it as part of a wellness plan.

IV therapy delivers fluids, electrolytes, vitamins, and minerals directly into the bloodstream. Because it bypasses digestion, absorption is essentially complete. That's the genuine, non-marketing claim.
Where it shines
- Dehydration. Travel, illness, heat, hangovers, intense training — fluids and electrolytes restore you faster than oral hydration.
- B-vitamin and magnesium support. For patients with documented deficiencies or absorption issues, IV delivery is more reliable than oral supplements.
- Pre-event recovery. Weddings, big presentations, athletic events — a hydration and B-complex drip the day before is a reasonable choice.
Where the evidence is thinner
"Anti-aging," "immune-boosting," and "detox" claims are often overstated. NAD+ infusions are popular and we offer them, but the strongest data so far is for energy and cognitive support, not the broader claims you'll see in influencer content.
How we approach it
Every wellness drip starts with a brief medical intake — current medications, kidney function for higher-volume drips, pregnancy status, and your actual goals. We won't sell you on a protocol that isn't right for you, and we'll tell you when oral supplementation will serve you just as well at a fraction of the cost.
